All the students must take on-campus medical examination which is held at the beginning of April every year.

KUT's Health Care Room is located on the 2nd floor of Central Building. Its office hours is from 8:30 to 17:15 (Mon.-Fri.).

All foreigners staying in Japan for more than 1 year must join the National Health Insurance. After application at the city office, you will have Health Insurance Card. When you go to hospital, please bring the card. You will be asked to pay only 30% of medical expense, 70% will be covered by the Insurance. Insurance fee is different from individual's annual income of previous year.
