Call for Papers
The International Symposium on Frontier Technology (ISFT) was launched in 2007 to provide a forum for researchers and scholars all over the world to share their theoretical results and techniques in fields such as engineering, information systems, and mechanical systems. The ISFT symposium has successfully convened 7 times in China, Japan and Thailand. In 2024, the 8th ISFT will be held in Kochi, Japan. We sincerely welcome our colleagues worldwide to join us for this symposium.

Paper Submission
Prospective author(s) should choose one of two submission types: either submitting a full paper or only an abstract.
A. Submission with Full Paper
- Submit a full paper of 4-8 pages describing original, unpublished research work.
- Submit the title, author(s), affiliation, abstract (approximately 300 words in English), and keywords by the abstract submission deadline.
- Your submission will be considered a formal submission. The paper will be included in the proceedings with an ISSN code. ISFT will own the copyright.
B. Submission with Abstract Only
- Submit the title, author(s), affiliation, abstract (approximately 300 words in English), and keywords by the abstract submission deadline.
- Your submission will be considered an informal submission. The abstract will be included in the closed proceedings without an ISSN code. ISFT will not own the copyright.
- Submissions that were previously presented in journals or conferences are acceptable. Submissions in this category do not restrict the right to submit to other journals or conferences in the future.

Registration Types and Participation Fees
Registration Types
- Full registration (non-student): 15,000 JPY (Participation fee: 7,500 JPY, ISFT Banquet: 7,500JPY)
- Full registration (student): 7,500 JPY (Participation fee: 7,500 JPY)
- Audience registration (KUT members only): Free
For each accepted submission, at least one author should complete the full registration (either non-student or student). The full registration includes lunch and a ticket to the ISFT Banquet. Audience registration does not include lunch or banquet ticket.
Payment method
We only accept cash on site for payment.
