Course Objective and Outlines
In this lecture, the dynamic behavior of structures is discussed and
the detailed method of mathematical modeling for the structural members is mastered for the dynamic response analysis due to earthquake motions. Furthermore, the
seismic design procedure and the evaluation method of seismic safety are
discussed through case studies of dynamic response analysis of reinforced concrete buildings due to real earthquake input motions using such computer programs.
