Overall Aims 授業の目的 1. To be able to use the basic English sentence and paragraph patterns discussing cause and effect, comparing, and discussing pros and cons (pro-con is an optional part of the course). 2. To be able to use those patterns to report solutions to practical problems.
Terminal Objectives 授業の進め方 Students will demonstrate the ability to: 1. Write English sentences about cause-effect relations between conditions and events. 2. Give an oral presentation in English showing the use of cause-effect language. 3. Write English sentences to compare objects and data. 4. Create pie graphs and information maps to represent given comparison information. 5. Write sentences in English about pie graphs. 6. Identify the pro and con arguments for a proposal. 7. Write English sentences and paragraphs expressing and weighing the pro and con arguments of a proposal. |
