Course Objectives and Outline
Recently, disparity issue between urban and rural regions is becoming a serious social problem not only in Japan but also in many other countries like China and Europe. We will visit many companies in Kochi area and have an interview with a top manager or working people in the local business, to research regional developing issues, in the field study class. In this class, we prepare the theoretical base for thinking regional developing issues and also for having a field study. The reports on visiting local companies in the field study class will be discussed and analyzed in this class, so that we recommend many graduate students to have this class for establishing their own research.
