◇ 講義の進め方(Course design)

Technical Reading at KUT is a two-quarter long course (four months) that meets once weekly for a total of fifteen sessions. The course has been designed to largely allow students to work at their own pace. Each week will focus on a different article reporting on advances in science and technology, and each article has associated vocabulary and comprehension exercises as well as a short quiz. All of the course work will be done in an online environment; students will only be required to bring a dictionary and note-taking materials to class. The readings become gradually more difficult over the course of the semester and have been taken from three resources: the Science News for Kids, Science Daily, and ScienceNOW websites.
