Details1 ◆科目名: Technical Presentation and Writing ◆科目番号:○○○○ ◆開講年次:○○○○ ◆単位数: ◆区分: CORE ◆担当教員: Andrew Oberg 授業の目的   Course Objectives This course will introduce the students to technical writing and presenting in English. Weekly writing assignments and presentations will give students practice in using basic patterns of technical writing, will provide students guidance in preparing English PowerPoint slides and will give students confidence to present in public. 1. Students will learn and practice the patterns of English writing that make up the overall genre of technical writing. 2. Students will learn to create effective slide presentations based on technical patterns of English. 3. Students will have the opportunity to introduce technology topics through mini-presentations. 授業の進め方 Course design For each genre of technical English, students will: learn to identify the genre in text, write a paragraph using the pattern, prepare a slide show and give a short presentation.
