Areas of specialization
Laboratory/research office Group Decision-Making Laboratory
How and why is the behavior of groups different from that of individuals? In many real-life situations, decisions are made by groups or teams of two or more individuals, such as families, boards of directors, legislatures and committees. Although there is a growing number of studies comparing the differences in behavior between groups and individuals, economists still know too little about it. This lab addresses this question through the framework of experimental economics, and clarifies the characteristics of the behavior of groups.
