In order to realize the sustainable society, environmental and energy problems cannot be avoided. Our laboratory tackles them from chemical field to solve these problems. The recent themes are listed as follows: 1. Development of dye-sensitized solar cells which are fabricated with electrolytically started polymerization method as a new technique. 2. Development of the electrochemical defense method against the anoxic water formed by iron sulfide in sediment. 3. The elucidation of the abnormal heat phenomena generated in the plasma electrolysis at a gas-liquid interface.4.Carbon fixation by plasma electrolysis at a gas-liquid interface.
