2026 Autumn Entrance Ceremony Held
On October 1, the 2026 Autumn Entrance Ceremony was held at Kami Campus. 15 students (9 from the master's program and 6 from the doctoral program) took a step towards a new life at Kochi University of Technology (KUT).
Professor Shigeomi Chono, President of KUT, welcomed the new students, saying " I hope you'll realize how significant the KUT system is, how profound academic study is, and how interesting learning is. I hope you'll get used to your new life and settled in here as soon as possible. Especially, international students may have some difficulties living in a different culture, not to mention dealing with a different language. Please take time for self-care and balance your personal well-being with your academic pursuits. I look forward to witnessing the incredible contributions you'll make to society."

I believe I speak for all of the new students when I say that we are grateful to become part of KUT. I hope we will all look forward to this academic year as a time to build new friendships, and exchange knowledge."
