Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology visited KUT

On June 21st, 2012, the president of Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology, Professor Kim Jowon and other 5 delegates visited Kochi University of Technology. Since Tadao Imamura who was the president of the predecessor institution to current Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology was originally from Tosa city, this university has close ties to Kochi prefecture since then. During their visit to Kochi, the former president Tadao Imamura’s son, Mr. Shokou Imamura and Tosa city mayor, Yoshifumi Itahara joined the delegation group and made a courtesy visit to our president, Taketo Sakuma and International Relations Center chair, Akimitsu Hatta. After the table talk, they took commemorative photos and went on a campus tour. Both sides agreed to solidify the academic relationships and promote exchange for students and faculty members.
