Fiscal Policy Laboratory
This laboratory investigates the relationships between fiscal policies and macroeconomies, using economic models, with a particular focus on public debt policies. In developed countries, public debt is an important macroeconomic issue; for that reason we investigate relationships between the macroeconomy and the determination of public debt policy through a political process. Furthermore, using dynamic general equilibrium models and Japanese economic data, we quantitatively analyze Japan's fiscal stance for futuristic considerations. |
