The E-learning Lab in the Core Studies Department researches ways to support, enhance and extend both teaching and learning using modern technologies, open-source software, and standard data formats. Research topics include the development of new plugins for learning management systems (LMS), new apps for mobile devices, and new methodologies for using technology to improve educational outcomes and maintain learner motivation. We are particularly focused on language learning and computer assisted language learning (CALL), but our research findings are relevant to e-learning in general.
