Construction Management Laboratory
The mandate of civil engineers is to provide infrastructures with acceptable quality for appropriate cost in reasonable time. Infrastructure engineering topics include not only new construction, but also maintenance, disaster emergency response and disaster recovery and reconstruction. Our laboratory studies include (a) management systems (project execution systems, bidding and contract systems, execution management and supervision and payment systems) to ensure smooth implementation of construction projects; (b) productivity measurement systems using ICT; (c) effective cooperation agreements for management of rapid disaster response; and (d) disaster management systems for municipal governments. |
