Forest Resource Biology Laboratory
There are abundant renewable forest bioresources in the world, and sustainable utilization of bioresources would contribute to the creation of a society independent of fossil fuel resources. Microorganisms in forests and wood products are high potential genetic resources for bio-refining. We study the biological function of microorganisms and are working to develop applications of microorganisms in bio-refinery technology. |
