Molecular Developmental Biology Laboratory
In animal development, cells divide and subsequently differentiate into diverse cell types in a spatio-temporally controlled manner, resulting in the formation of tissues and organs. Our group is investigating the molecular basis underlying these processes, focusing on gene regulatory mechanisms. Our research utilizes Danio rerio, a small tropical fish also known as the zebrafish. |
