Our research topics are image understanding and data understanding by means of various sensors and real world applications. A digital camera outputs a large amount of data (some million pixels per 1/30 second) so there is a need for an effective method of dealing with such a vast volume of data. Our research, rooted in physics, aims to develop a reliable system for image inspection and image processing, i.e. a system that reflects our understanding of human computer interaction. |
