How the human mind emerges from brain activity is one of the most challenging problems in scientific research today. Our research focuses on the brain mechanisms underlying cognition and memory in humans. We are also interested in the brain mechanisms underlying social behavior. Our main research tool is functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), which enables us to visualize human brain activity.
