Areas of specialization
Laboratory/research office Molecular Cellular Genetics Laboratory
We are interested in the molecular mechanisms that stably repress the expression of transgenes, transposons, and some specific domestic genes. Our current study uses mainly single eukaryotic micro algae. We are also attempting to establish a system for stable and high expression  of transgenes coding valid proteins. With such a system, micro unicellular alga can serve as a plant cell factory for the production of aimed proteins.
