Human-Engaged Computing Laboratory (HECL)
Computer technologies can be found in every corner of the world today, and in every field of human endeavor. Design and evaluation are of critical importance for more efficient interaction between humans and technologies. The Human-Engaged Computing Laboratory (HECL) is an interdisplinary, multicultural laboratory driving next-generation computing with focused emphasis on synergized interactions between humans and computers. HECL deeply integrates with computer science, engineering, philosophy, psychology, eastern knowledge, neuroscience, sociology, and sustainability to technological design and development. The outcome is the realization of full human and digital potential, with a view to enhancing human existence and making a better world for all. |
