Security Systems Laboratory
Network service systems, typified by the Internet, play an important role as social infrastructure. Security technologies are indispensable for smooth operation and utilization of such infrastructure. In our lab, we are contriving encryption and authentication methods (which have become the core of security technologies) theoretically, and are working to develop applied services and systems based on those methods. We broadly combine research and development related to various ICT security topics with aspects of education, social change, and legislation, which will surely be important issues. |
