Theoretical Physics Laboratory
Theoretical physics is an attempt to describe and understand all aspects of the world which are accessible by human intelligence by means of mathematical language. In our laboratory, we focus on research in quantum mechanics, which has many counter-intuitive characteristics. In particular, we are interested in the phenomenon of "quantum anomaly," which manifests in the physics of "quantum graph" and "quantum network," which are artificially manufactured microscopic low dimensional systems. This research is expected to pave the way for direct control of quantum particles and the resultant realization of quantum devices. |
