Areas of specialization
Laboratory/research office Corporate Control Laboratory
In recent years corporate scandals have had serious effects on activities within various social systems (e.g., amendment of corporate laws, revision of new audit standards, and establishment of new capital market rules). The results of our empirical research, which is based on theories of corporate governance and auditing, will aid in the identification of the causes of corporate fraud. Also, in another series of studies, this lab is working to develop organizational design for efficient and effective control of corporations.
