Our aim is to achieve nanometer-thick oxide films with unusual and surprising properties. Our theoretical and experimental approach is to design electron-electron interactions and/or electron-phonon interactions associated with the characteristics of chemical bonding states unique to the oxides. Oxide electronics made from our uniquely conceived oxide films will exhibit previously unimaginable functions that will enable the sustainable development of science, leading to new knowledge domains and wisdom horizons. |
