Intelligent Informatics Laboratory
This laboratory studies artificial and computational intelligence theory and its application to computers. Our research topics include fuzzy logic, which deals with various ambiguous forms of information, neural networks inspired by human brain neurons, genetic algorithms inspired by life and genetics, and machine learning. These techniques as a group are referred to as soft computing; we apply soft computing to scenarios including content-based image retrieval systems, fMRI-based brain decoding systems and data mining from WWW articles. |
