On May 28th, a Japanese culture tour was held. 9 international students and 14 Japanese students interested in international exchange joined this tour and experienced one of Japan's traditional culture practice, tea ceremony.

In the morning, students visited Kochi Castle Museum of History and Sunday markouho064.JPGket. Then, students had lunch with teachers from Tosaseisyuryu (土佐石州流) , a school of tea ceremony, and learned about hanging scroll and flower arrangements in the tearoom, and the sprits of tea ceremony. Students also experienced making a tea and were surprised the difference of its tea taste between the one the teacher made and the one student made.

The tour became a great opportunity for students to learn Japanese culture and get to know each other and also with Kochi's local people.
