The 2018 Autumn graduation and degree ceremonies were held at the Kami Campus on September 25, 2018.
14 students (1 from the master's program and 13 from the doctoral program) received their degrees.
Professor Masahiko Isobe, President of KUT, encouraged the students, who are on their way towards a bright future, saying, "Congratulations on your achievement. You must have gone through tough times during your study. Your academic achievement here is highly appreciated without any hesitation. It is beneficial not only to you but also to the whole society. Now, you are at the top in the field. Your work in KUT might have been limited in a narrow area but you made a big breakthrough in your research. Once you make a breakthrough, you know how to make another one by using experience. Those ability you gained here, such as challenging attitude, imagination, sharp insights, skill of analysis and creativity, can be used in any situation. I hope you will make the most of your ability in your future."
