Professor Seiji Tanaka of School of Environmental Science and Engineering received the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Review Committee Member Award (for document review).

This award was in recognition of Prof. Tanaka's contribution to document review for FY 2018 Research Fellowship for Young Researchers and the JSPS International Project Committee. KUT President Masahiko Isobe presented the certificate to Prof. Tanaka on July 3.

JSPS presents this award to committee members who have contributed meaningful comments in the expert reviews for first stage examination (document screening) for Research Fellowship for Young Researchers. Among the 1,500 committee members, 600 people in the second year were eligible for the award and 109, including Professor Tanaka, were selected for FY 2018.
