Kasetsart University delegation, consisting of the president Prof. Chongrak Wachrinrat, and a total of 11 members, visited Kochi University of Technology on March 22nd, 2023. Prior to this visit, Kochi University of Technology had visited Kasetsart University in May 2022, and had fruitful discussions about future academic cooperation. This visit by Kasetsart University to Kochi University of Technology aimed to further enhance the exchange between the two universities.

The Student Exchange Agreement between Kochi University of Technology and Kasetsart University was signed during this visit. Kasetsart University is a leading research university in Thailand with a strong focus on agriculture, and had signed a university-level MoU with KUT in March 2020. At the KUT-Kasetsart University official exchange promotion meeting, KUT president Masahiko Isobe gave the welcome remarks, followed by a greeting from Kasetsart University president Chongrak Wachrinrat. Both universities provided introductions to their institutions and academic programs to further strengthen and expand the possibility of future academic and educational cooperation. The signing of the Student Exchange Agreement will provide students from both universities with the opportunity to study abroad and experience different cultures.
