Presentations at academic society meetings

Towards becoming world class researchers and engineers

KUT provides a system for encouraging students to present at academic society meetings. Through this system, many students have participated in domestic and international academic society meetings to present their research. To present at academic meetings, it is necessary to produce a paper reporting the author's original study, founded on objective data. Presenters are also required to answer questions from the audience after the presentation. With such experiences as a springboard, students can readily develop into world class researchers and engineers.

From undergraduate to graduate school

Emphasizing linkage between undergraduate and graduate schools

Recently, the demand for individuals with science and engineering background is increasing in companies in Japan, especially in leading edge industry sectors. Such people are expected to have completed a master's program and have a high level of expertise, a broad perspective and rich communication skills so that they can participate in joint research development projects. KUT provides 1) a continuous curriculum connecting undergraduate education and research to that of graduate school; 2) early graduation options; and 3) various other kinds of educational support, so as to create an environment where students can grow continuously as they proceed to graduate school.
