The research interests in this laboratory are the global economic, environmental, social and development challenges. We emphasize how the globalized economy has affected the lives of people in different parts of the world. We think critically and holistically about the current and future challenges we face in an increasingly interconnected world. Methodologically, the emphasis lies largely on:

· Laboratory and field experiment methods
· Panel data methods
· GIS methods in a social science
