Students who are completing the master's program are required to submit an application for a master's degree, their master's thesis and a thesis publication agreement form. Assessments of a master's degree are conducted according to assessment criteria.

- Please note that, in addition to the above documents, those who wish to proceed to the doctoral program as SSP (Special Scholarship Program) students are required to submit SSP application documents approximately three month prior to applying for the master's degree. Those who wish to proceed to a doctoral program other than SSP are required to submit the documents listed below along with the application documents for a master's degree.

Application for a master's degree

1. Download an application form, input the required information in the sheet "入力部分", and submit the completed file as an email* attachment to the Educational Affairs Section ( academic@ml.kochi-tech.ac.jp )

2. Print the sheet "印刷用", place your seal on it and submit it to the Educational Affairs Section.

Note:
* Please name the file 'student ID_full name' and use the subject line 'Application for Master's Degree Program in Graduate School' when sending the email.
*if you are applying using a name, or an English spelling of your name, which is different from the one shown on your student ID card, a different procedure is required: go to the Educational Affairs Section to complete that procedure.

• Download the thesis publication agreement form, fill it in and submit it along with your master thesis to the University Library and Academic Information Resources.

The application deadline for the Special Scholarship Program is approximately three month prior to the deadline for applications for a master's degree. Please consult with your supervisor well in advance before applying. The details are available here .

Procedure for application for admission to the doctoral program as non-SSP students

Those who wish to enter the doctoral program after completing the master's program as non-SSP students are required to submit a request to enroll in the doctoral program. Those who have passed the Special Scholarship Program admissions are not required to complete this procedure.
