Areas of specialization
Laboratory/research office Statistical Physics
Not only materials but also ecosystems are constituted by a vast number of strongly interacting components. The aims of our laboratory are twofold. First, we address fundamental issues in statistical physics, including out-of-equilibrium dynamics, nonlinear response, and complex network formation which are generic to the strongly interacting systems. Furthermore, we develop the method for data analytics of either useful plant systems for agroforestry or social and economic systems for detecting collective states of emotions and systemic responses to cause micro-hits or financial crises, respectively.
