Algebraic Geometry is an area of Mathematics,
classically studying geometric figures defined by polynomials. For example, conics (ellipses, hyperbolas and parabolas) are plane curves of special kind and have been deeply studied. Algebraic curves (one-dimensional algebraic varieties) are the main object of our research.
