Lasers are used in manufacturing technologies in various industry fields, notably in semiconductor devices, automobiles, medical equipment, and materials.
We collaborate with various companies to develop manufacturing technologies using a variety of lasers, such as excimer lasers, solid-state lasers, semiconductor lasers and CO2 lasers; and to realize social implementation of our research results.
Current research topics Establishment of industry-academia-government collaboration social implementation platform using photon and quantum technology
