Our laboratory is committed to framing solutions to diverse social issues in Japan, where the birthrate is rapidly declining and the population is aging, from the viewpoints of architecture and the local environment. Specifically, we conduct a wide variety of research ranging from the planning of housing and public facilities to the assessment of local environments. We are also involved in the development of local communities that are comfortable for all members, including foreign and female workers.
