Physics is one of the scientific areas which tries to understand natural phenomena predominantly by using mathematics. In particular, understanding phenomena manifested by many elements such as transition among solids, liquid, and gas, flow structures of water and air, life phenomena, and the formation of the universe, requires highly developed mathematics based on computations by workstations. Our laboratory is trying to solve various such problems of "many-body physics" through the use of computer simulations and visualizations.
