詳細 物理学とは主に数学の手法を用いることによって、自然現象を理解しようと試みる学問です。その中でも集団によって初めて発現される現象、例えば固体・液体・気体間の転移、空気や水の流れ構造、あるいは生命現象や人間の社会構造、宇宙の構造形成など、を理解するためにはコンピュータを用いた計算機数学が欠かせません。本研究室ではコンピュータシミュレーションおよびその結果のビジュアリゼーションを用いて、この「多体物理学」の諸問題を研究します。
