Laboratory/research office Laboratory of Molecular Cellular Genetics
We are interested in the molecular mechanisms that stably repress the expression of transgenes, transposons, and some specific domestic genes. Single eukaryotic micro algae are mainly used for this study. We are also challenging to establish the system that is useful for stable and high expression of transgenes coding valid proteins. Through such a system, micro unicellular alga can be a plant cell factory for the production of aimed proteins.
