Our aim is to achieve nanometer-thick oxide films with unusual and surprising properties.
Our theoretical and experimental approach to resolve the issues above is to design electron-electron interactions and/or electron-phonon interactions in terms of atomic structure with chemical bonding states of electrons in the oxide films. The oxide electronics made from the oxide films will exhibit the unusual and surprising functions.
