Laboratory/research office	Theoretical Physics Laboratory Theoretical physics is an attempt to describe and understand all aspects of the world which is accessible by human intelligence with the use of mathematical language. In our laboratory, we place our focus on the research of quantum mechanics, which possesses many counter-intuitive characteristics. In particular, we are interested in the phenomenon of "quantum anomaly" which manifest itself in the physics of "quantum graph" and "quantum network", that are artificially manufactured microscopic low dimensional systems. This research is supposed to pave the way to the direct control of quantum particles and resultant realization of quantum devices.
